wheels look nice.

you really need to push getting that exhaust cut down abit to the top of your list and a boot spoiler.

I agree with the above, the exhausts poke out a bit too much for my liking

I am a fan of the car in general though

Exhaust hopefully will be sorted soon and I really want a boot spoiler, although I'm doing a rear LCI and was thinking to buy a cheap 20 pound spoiler just for now? Or a bad idea?

Like I've said earlier, exhaust needs adjusting as the flexi was getting ripped open on every bump when I had my small 16" wheels. Although thanks!

So, while I bought the wheels, I decided to have a general look over the car by my friend mechanic and decided to do a little service which caused in buying new parts:

Service 2015:
- Oil Filter (Done)
- Fuel Filter (Done)
- Cabin Filter (Done)
- K&N Air Filter (Done)
- Mobil 1 New Life 0W-40 5L (Done)
- BMW Genuine Wipers (Done)

- Left & Right SACHS front shock absorbers (Ordered)
- SACHS bump stops & dust covers (Ordered)
- Left & Right SACHS Top Mounts (Ordered)
- Eibach Pro-kit springs (Ordered)

Un-necessary:

Gave an engine bay a nice clean:

New interior LEDs. Very bright. Will take a shot of interior while they illuminate.

Done some extra sound deading at the front door.
Before:

After:

New BMW wipers are much better than my old Bosch.

More updates when the suspension is fitted.

Thanks,
Damian!

New front suspension + Eibach Pro's!

So, since I had the alloys, I had to sort out the suspension so I bought 2 Sachs front shock absorbers, 2 Lemforder top mounts, kit of Sachs bump stops and an Eibach Pro kit. Had all this fitted last week.

All the parts:

How the car was just after fitting:

They're still settling in and I'm hoping for a better drop, but will give an update in 1k miles or so. Oh yeah, also had the black carbon BMW badges fitted.

Also I'm considering to go 5mm spacers all round, but got few other things in mind first.

Thanks,
Damian.

get them alloys spaced out ( my alloys are the same as yours 9J front 10J rear if i remember correctly ) the rears can take BIG spacers, mine are currently sat @ E.T 18 with 20mm spacers but im considering rolling the arches to allow 25mm spacers.

My fronts are currently @ E.T 23 with 12mm spacers but i have some 15mm spacers which im considering fitting up front.

Due to the VERY deep concave on these alloys they look very good well spaced out...

Im coming around to the quad exhaust look thou....

Thanks matey. I went for Lemforder and quite happy with the results!

I hope so! I mean, I don't mind how it sits now, but few mm drop would be even nice. Will probably drop within days of driving so will post photos!

I really do want to, but I'm worried about rubbing! I also had wheel bearing issues on my older car as I was running big spacers and don't want the same issue here!

My only considerations with spacers are either to go 5mm all round, 10mm all round or 5mm at front and 10mm at the back.

Opinions?

Excuse the dirt but,
one weeks driving on the new springs:

Thanks,
Damian

looks spot on height wise. based on those pics I don't think u need spacers at all. but from other angles it maybe a different story.

your the second person to go lemforder recently so I may well just do the same

Really liking how it's come along. For me still think the tips on the exhaust stick out too much but that's a personal thing.

Lovely scenery shots a few posts up too.

Thanks. Well, I think 10mm spacers all round would do the job, but will have a think as got few other things planned as well.

Thanks mate! It's a Sports Mind sticker which is a nice addition in my opinion. Ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2213559619...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Thanks. Well, the exhaust still needs sorting. Never really had time to drive up to Glasgow to get it sorted by my guy!

Main issue why the exhaust sticks out so much is because when I had my small 16" winter steelies on, the DPF flexi which connected to the exhaust was getting caught on every speed bump etc. and it ripped out few fixings. I managed to sort it out temporarily but like I've said, whole exhaust will be re-fitted and my flexi will be sorted as well as my exhaust guy mentioned of how poor BMW designed the flexi fixing. Anyway, was thinking to buy this to go with it, if it changes anything?: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111104740289?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageNa me=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Also, getting my rear windows tinted this friday. Not sure how dark I'll go. My mate suggested full limo, but I think that's too much. Will see.

Will post an update on friday as will get the car washed after tinting done. The springs have slightly dropped as well.

Thanks,
Damian.

6000k HIDs fitted.

Unfortunately never had my windows tinted as the guy was away. Getting them done hopefully next week.

Although manage to get some 6000k HIDs and fit them:

Really happy with the results. On picture above it looks quite blueish but their white really. Will get some more photos soon, I've also gave the car a little wash:

More photos once I get the windows done. Also bought some BMW valve caps.

Thanks,
Damian

I like them a lot. I bought just a regular pair for a reasonable price. 6000k is white with tint of blue. Huge difference to the standard yellow halogens.

That's where I bought them from: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-CANBUS...item3392dbebed

Nice work on the remap. Most remaps make a huge difference to stock power. Enjoy!

I put a DTUK box on my last car (320d) and difference was night and day.
