I glad you posted this. I was at the same track last night and I had the same lag in my 2nd to 3rd gear change. Almost felt like it lost all power for a sec and then back on. I have a 08 6MT, BB flash and a DCI. Only got two runs in and best was a 13.2 @ 108 with a garbage 2.25 60ft. I was thinking it could be the CDV if you haven't removed it. Mine is still the stock CDV. If not that I have no idea.

I think it's the CDV valve. You can remove it or replace it with a modified one. Will see if that does it.

Interested in this, I felt the same thing the last time I was at the track.

I'm also 6MT.

I've done a lot of logging in of hard shifts on a 6MT. What I've seen (unless running way more octane than I need for the map) is that when you shift hard and let our the clutch hard, the rpm oscillates for a good part of a second. As it oscillates more knock than usual seems to occur and then it takes a couple of seconds for the timing pulls to bleed off. Additional complications are that for the stock IC guys they are usually hot enough that timing is beginning to be pulled due to charge temps, and on the shift you can sometimes hit a hole in the stock retard map that allows too much timing and you get additional knock, as well as sometimes getting knock easily at the lower parts of the load map just before boost comes back on.

I've got most of that tuned out now using ATR, but I look forward to a non-DMFW to see if the weird rpm oscillations go away on a hard shift.
