The general silver on BMW alloys is "Reflex Silver" (Colour Code: A44/BMW WA44 MET). A lot of dealers actually spray the alloys with Titanium Silver as it's a cheaper paint.

The grey on the latest alloys is "Ferric Grey II" (Colour Code: B55 MET/BMW WB55 MET). It's more expensive and I don't think you can get proper touch up pens in that colour at the moment. I saw somewhere it costs x2-x3 as a normal paint so you normally have to pay a bit extra when getting your alloys refurbed in that colour.
Thanks EB

Apparently the Wurth Wheel Silver is meant to be very close to BMW/Audi alloys. I've used it for my wheel repairs.
http://www.ppcco.com.au/wurth07.html

Quote from the above site

"Wurth Silver Wheel Paint is used to refinish dull or scuffed wheels and hub caps. The fine mist spray goes on evenly and matches all German-made wheels.

If your vehicle is not German made, test an inconspicuous area before doing touch-ups on the outer face of your wheel. "

Mod 74 - Center console mod

Not exactly the most impressive mod so far, but its really simple and practical, so I thought I'd add it here in case someone else wants to do this too

Do you have a phone cradle taking up valuable space in your center console?
Could you use the extra space for something more useful?
Then rip out the phone cradle and plug the gap with a "center arm rest storage insert tray" from Latvia

Gotta say this thread must no doubt have the most pages (by a huge margin) in the Australian section for "My build".

So while Mr duck might have the world's fastest drag 335I, but Socket wins the internet forums which is a much bigger accomplishment.

I reckon it will look tough! Be mindful that your car will always look better in person than in pics unless you get the lighting absolutely perfect so that the design of the black rims are visible. The pic above is actually a good pic! I like the design too. I would check Koya wheels as well as Cosmis wheels, both have the multi spoke design but not sure if they come in 19s.
