Its a low quality intercooler that will not be enough for any FBO application.

There are a bunch of datalogs from people who got this intercooler and all the other replicas.
Take any of 2-3-4 datalog, compare it to a quality FMIC (IAT, pressure air drop and recovery) and you will get all the data you need.

Ok, I'm a noob with my N54 and I may never update my FMIC but I can't help but fall back on past experiences with heat rejection and radiators with small front face areas. Why would you not simply add small high performance cooling fans in front of the stock intercooler?
Heat rejection is a factor of delta T area and efficiency. The delta t part being difficult if the cooling medium is passing though the cooler at a slow rate of speed and heating up too much. Don't shoot, just asking. |

ARM use the same replicas used all over Ebay, its not like they are coming up with their own design.
Either way, feel free to get the 7" ones it is out and post a datalog for a 2-3-4 pull with IAT, pressure air drop and then recovery

ARM 7" vs VRSF 7" (NON HD) - Keeping IAT's down the ARM outperformed the VRSF through a multi gear pull. Down fall to the ARM is the OEM couplers are prone to leaks.
Personally i would go with PSP. it outperforms ARM,VRSF (Non HD), and is as good if not better than the VRSF HD especially for the money https://fasterbypinnacle.com/product...c-intercooler/

ARM 7" vs VRSF 7" NON HD - ARM did better at keeping IAT's at bay, downfall to ARM is the OEM couplers - ARM 7" 330$ VRSF 7" 450$ - Regular Price VRSF 7" HD vs PSP 600IC - Performed equally but aesthetically PSP surpasses the VRSF - PSP 600IC 524$, VRSF 7"HD 550$ - Regular Price

If I wanted to datalog my FMIC and get the opinions of the guru's of this thread what data should I capture?
Start the Monitor (Auto), DSC off, 2500 rpm, 3th gear, WOT until 6500-6800RPM, Shift into the next gear and after 2-3 sec. release the throttle, slow down and stop the Monitor. Just need to know what pids to capture using MDH data logging

2 gear pull is needed you want to temp at the start of the pull vs ambient vs temp at the end of the pull You also want to monitor how fast temp goes back to starting point after the pull is over Last thing is pressure air drop

Thanks for the info. I don't see pressure air drop in MHD's logging options. Is this a JB4 only feature? MHD only shows IAT? So basically capture a log in second gear WOT then normal drive for a minute to see how the AIT drop?
