So I always forget to close my sunroof when I leave my car so I always have to go back and close it. I noticed that when the headlight switch is on automatic the parking lights stay on until the driver's door is opened. Today I went back to my car to close my sunroof and I went through my passenger side door. The parking lights came on when I activated the sunroof but I had to put my key fob in. But when you turn off your car the parking lights are on until the driver's door is opened. I know that there are switches that sense that the doors are open. I was thinking I could just keep the switch depressed to trick the car into thinking that the door is still closed. When I lock my car the parking lights would go off with it....not fade though, just turn off. So in a sense it's (exit) welcome lights. Now I just have to figure out how to make them turn on when I enter the car!

do you have the lightning package or what its called?

i would prefer to have this on my pre-lci

Not sure what that is...I just have my headlight switch set to auto and when I turn the engine off the parking lights stay on and turn off when I lock my car. I don't know how to have them turn on when I unlock the car.

That'd be awesome...I would love to find a cheaper alternative to the Daaos system JLevi offers.
