I tried to install LED fog lights, but the manufacturer and ECS are unaware that my car has HB4 fog connector. The supplied kit has H11. Bummer. I didn't do my homework on E90Post, but will be looking for other LED fog solutions.

Pretty much all the aftermarket retrofits use H11, but it also looks like morimoto gives you different plugs you can swap pins into ? Should be an easy swap.

You'd think! I even called Morimoto and they said, "looks like you'll have to get a rufund."

I was like, huh? You don't have an HB4 connector. Maybe I'll call them back.

Mine were plug and play on my M-Sport. I think Morimoto accidently put the wrong adapter on the fog lights maybe?

Checking off the little things on the this and that list:
F10 trunk struts on SO's car (pretty common wear items).
Seatbelt emulator on Firstborn's E91.
Added AUX remote outlet on the same.
Bigger stuff (windshield cowl, then shocks and struts!) this afternoon and tomorrow!
FWIW I sort of got the driver's side mirror to lock into correct spot. Now afraid to mess with them to fidget with the passenger side!

I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to rewire your harness for H11 connectors. To be honest I've never heard of your style plug until now. Sounds like it'd give you more options down the line

Finished finally.. Took me a while to get it how like but I like it now. Took that damned dirt shield off or whatever it is, pia is what it was. Saved 2lb. Barely noticable I'll get better pics but ya everything outta the way now. Can take 3 bolts off the engine cover and go straight into new plugs and coils or anything else. Slick

Question for those of you with oem pre lci xenons - how bright is your inner lights at night compared to the high beams?

Looking to upgrade the stock h7s to led but I wasn't sure if it would be worth it. I don't know how the reflector is designed

A lot brighter.
I need to get some leds for the inner ones too.
Look funny with blue xenon and yellow inner ones.

Went on from here to R&R power steering reservoir and refill it with the good stuff!

Then on to the big project on my 330i: New bouncy bits all around! Needed them bad, the old ones were blown out bad. New springs and both upper and lower perch mounts. Tomorrow I move to the front end!

Yea H7. Those cost a bit more than I’d like to spend on it.
These are more in my price range.

H7 LED Bulb, CAR ROVER 50W 10000Lumens Extremely Bright 6000K CSP Chips Conversion Kit, Halogen Replacement https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HQBWR5F...ing=UTF8&psc=1

I used them before and they were good.
I found out a while ago that D1S led bulbs for xenons are made. I’ll probably try some out.

The low profile and good track record is what has me attracted to it. I've run car rover before and have zero issues. In fact my current D1S might even be from them, though I can't remember for certain. I had some H1s from them that I gave to a friend, they lasted about a year. I'm hoping the "get what you pay for" will come out with the ones I listed. Too much of a pain imo to have to replace the bulbs each year lol

Any chance you'd part ways with those saddle front sports seats? I've been searching for years! Thought maybe as they're not in a car I should ask.

Went to go change the oil and my Daytona 3 ton low-profile jack couldn't lift the car up.

I guess, it's out of hydraulic fluid?
