That is a pretty aggressive setup, but certainly possible. Do you have adjustable camber plates up front to squeeze those under the front fenders with decent size tires?

In the rear, especially since you have an E90 LCI with less fender clearance, you will need to roll out the fenders and dd negative camber to get these fit.

What tire sizes would you like to run?

Finally got the arc-8's on! 17x9 with 255/40's Star Spec II's square. Had to do a little work in the front wells but it is worth it.

The most amazing thing about getting these wheels is that it has provided the same feel as the AA headers provided. I took them off and got these and the car has regained the quick pick up that i had with the headers. 15lbs taken off at each corner made a HUGE difference and I recommend this upgrade over anything else I have done to this car.

18x9" ET30 profile 3 face - 245/40-18
18x9.5" ET35 profile 3 face - 275/35-18

* Rear fenders may need to be rolled to prevent rubbing with 275 tires depending on tire brand and vehicle ride height. Dialing in a touch more negative camber out back is also a way to prevent rubbing.

Would you recommend that fitment too for kw v1 xi suspension ??

Awesome to hear you are enjoying them Substantially reducing rotational mass will absolutely be impactful in many ways.

I would, the 18x9" ET30 up front will provide enough inner clearance for KW's which are known for robbing clearance.

LCI e92 coupe

Michelin PSS
18x9" ET30 - 235/40-18
18x9.5" ET22 - 265/35-18

KW V2, rolled fenders, -3 rear and -1.5 front camber

any fitment issues i should be aware of? would the front suspension clear? i know the KW coils are a tight fit for the front.

It sounds like you've got it all covered. The 9.5" ET22 is aggressive for the rear, but can certainly be done with fender rolling in combination with your neg camber specs.

The KW's do make things a bit tight, but with 235/40-18 tires you should still experience a direct fit up front. Tire brand, vehicle ride height and spring perch location are factors to consider when looking at front strut clearance with the KW's.

I had to roll the front fenders a little and I cut out some of the fender liner where the seam is for the front bumper cover and fender. You will see where it sticks out into the wheel well.

Hey ApexRaceParts I have your ARC-8's 17x9 with starII's in 255/40 and wanted to know what size spacer I can use in the rear with no rolling or obviously rubbing.

Assuming you have the ET30 offset and not the ET42, I would say it is safe to run 5mm spacers on the rear of your E90 pre-lci. The best thing to do is measure from the tire edge out towards your fenders to understand how much room you are working with. I can get you close, however every car is a bit different depending on ride height, camber settings and tire brand.

It is possible to fit 10mm or 12mm spacers, but either of these could put you right at the limit where rubbing under compression could occur. Cars with more negative camber dialed in will naturally get away with more aggressive offsets (thicker spacers).

Ya I think 5mm is the max without fender modification. The wheels are ET30 and the star specs in 255 are pretty filling in that rear well. It is at -2 camber in the rear but I have new Bilstein B6 HD on order with new mounts so I am going to see where that puts me first. I know it won't change camber but ride height might change a little.

Thanks for the help

Picking up a set of Satin Black ARC-8's this weekend. 18x9.5 et35 squared. Will be putting 225/40/18 and 255/40/18 as I have them laying around. Just want to see the fitment. Would I require a spacer in the front to clear the strut? Currently on Koni shocks and M-Sport springs. Might change to swift springs in the future.

Very cool! The 18x9.5" ET35 is an aggressive fitment up front, but can certainly be done with the right precautions. Since your running quite a stretched tire fitment, you may get away with stock camber settings, however anyone running the appropriate size tires up front (255's or 265's) would need to add negative camber for outer fender clearance.

In regards to inner clearance towards the suspension, you may need to run 5mm spacers. There is a slim chance the stretched tires allow you to bolt them straight to the car without these spacers, but in most scenarios I have seen with wider tires small spacers were required.

The 18x9" ET30 is really the better fit for most enthusiasts, as they do not require spacers and they accommodate 225 - 255 tires a bit better. They are also boast the same profile 3 concave face as the 9.5" wheel, so there is no visual difference between the two.

The only motivation to run the 18x9.5" ET35 square fitment is for track customers looking to maximize sidewall support for their wide 265/35-18 tires. Those enthusiasts will naturally be running aggressive track oriented camber specifications anyways, so fitment is not an issue.
