The person who "SHOULD have told you" owns the laptop with INPA installed that read those codes using "Functional Jobs" Fault Memory, ALL modules. THAT is what you have the two photos of. That screen is ONLY intended to indicate what modules have Faults that need to be diagnosed. To actually DO that diagnosis, you need to connect to EACH individual Control Module that has a fault saved, ONE Module at a time.

INPA can tell you by connecting to each module that has a fault shown, and reading the Fault Memory with Detail or Freeze Frame Data. INPA can then perform further diagnostics such as reading sensor input or testing component function, without having to take anything apart to do the tests (just remove your OBD II Socket covers ;-)

For instance the first code you show, A6D1 appears to relate to a fault in the Auxiliary Water Pump. That pump is controlled by the JBE/JBBF Module. To get specific information on that fault, you would connect to the JBBF, and select "Fehlerspeicher" or Fault Memory and read the DEFINITION of the fault code. You may have to translate technical German to your own language. Google Translate is helpful for that purpose.

Getting the two screens you show takes about two minutes using Functional Jobs. Diagnosing EACH individual Fault Code takes longer, and takes some thought, analysis and further testing. You have to START with the Code Definition and think about what it actually means and how to test further. A fault code such as A6D1 doesn't mean "Replace Auxiliary Water Pump." Rather, it means there is an electrical anomaly in that circuit which could be a bad fuse, wire, connection, or the pump itself. INPA allows you to "Activate" a pump or motor to test its operation, and often to see a readout of pump speed in the case of fuel pump, coolant pump, E-fan speed, etc.

If that is YOUR computer, ask for help and someone can walk you through the process described above. If you don't have a laptop, and you plan to own a BMW for years into the future, it would be wise to spend $45 US on BimmerGeeks K+DCAN cable, download BMW Standard Tools, which includes INPA, and even if you have to buy a used Windows 10 Laptop ~ $200 US, you will save BIG on future diagnostics.
