Yeah, I don't know much about it down there, though quite a few of friends have went there and said it was a blast.

Yeah, I'll look into those two groups you mentioned.

Feel free to shoot me a PM for more guidance. The PCA announced the dates of their events for this summer.

Is there any info online about these meets?

Also; I'm looking at the window tint laws in Ohio. Does anyone know what this tint sticker thing is I keep seeing?

"The sticker to identify legal tinting is required between the film & glass on each tinted window."

http://www.lawsontint.com/ohio/
*not the only source I've seen stating this.

Is there anyone in the Cincinnati area that would be willing to register a battery for me on my e92?

No one has it on their car and the tint places don't have them anyways. You sign a waiver and your good to go. I have never had it on any of my cars in 30 years.

Copy that! Getting 50% rears and 35% on the fronts. Thanks.

Side note:

Is anyone on here wrapping their e90 in mirror gold vinyl? Saw some guy today on RT-14 in Streetsboro with his two doors and rear quarter wrapped in this stuff. Just wanted to say STOP. Unless that things going full show and has a lot more coming to it. But; wrapping it in Ohio winter and driving it through this salt not a good idea + mirror gold is going to look horrible for a Bimmer IMHO...

I don't think you understand window tint. The percentage is the amount of light allowed through. If you do what you said you are then your tint will be illegal, but more importantly it will look stupid because the fronts will be darker than the rear. Just do 20% all around and expect to maybe get a ticket over the life of the car.

Windshield - Must allow more than 70% of light in.
Front Side Windows - Must allow more than 50% of light in.
Back Side Windows - Any darkness can be used.
Rear Window - Any darkness can be used.
^^^ That's from this tintlaws' website for Ohio. Meh...laws

I plan to throw on some tint very soon. Probably 30 or 35 percent all around.

I believe I saw this car parked at the Honda Dealer on SR5 in Cortland, sure hope there is not a second one running around. Caught a glimpse at the last moment, possibly a white e90. Couldn't bring myself to turn around for a second look.

First off, hello everyone, I am a new member but have been lurking around here for the past few months. I live in Columbus and look forward to meeting up with some people in the future who share the same love for their Bimmer.

PM for pics

Second, David1, any chance you still have one of these? I know it's been a few months but I've been looking into intercoolers for about a month now trying to decide what I want to get but this seems like a pretty good deal. Let me know and we can set something up if you still have them.

I think the chances of you getting a ticket for it are also dependent on your car color. When I was younger, my brother got pulled over twice by state patrolmen only for the fact his windows were too dark. His car was yellow so the dark windows stood out. I had a black car, same kind of car, same window tint, and never had any issues, even when I was pulled over for other reasons.

If you really get them on a bad day, they will "strip" your windows meaning they have this fun little tool that will take a nice little strips out of your window tint making it look like a zebra.

Hey guys new here! Need a full paint correction, a few scratches fixed and some painting/blending on the RR quarter for a 2012 e91 I just picked up. Need recommendations for a shop in Dayton preferable but would go to Cincy/Columbus if they can handle Deep Sea Blue (I hear it's a tough color to work with) terrible pic just drove it back from Chicago last night

If you're willing to pay dealer prices, Voss does great work! Do not go to the other dealership in Dayton. I have a perfect example of an e90 as to why not. If you're curious why, PM me.

Thanks man! I decided to go with Dealers Choice in Kettering. They did great work on my Mazdaspeed I'm trying to sell. And a good rate for continued work.

Esoteric here in Columbus is excellent, although very expensive and usually booked out a month or more. I'm also willing to help you if you are the do it yourself kind of guy
