Light throttle rattle

2009 328i 6MT.
98500 miles.
Car runs well. No CEL.

Just an odd rattle that seems to coincide with throttle pressure. Very light throttle, maintaining speed, I can hear a gentle rattle under the hood. Punch it and it seems to go away, returns under part throttle.
Sounds a little like raspy lifter noise? Hard to capture on video, it's too faint still.
Some days are worse than others.
Car has 3 stage IM and BPC tune.

Any ideas?

Does it do it while the car is out of gear? A buddy with a right foot and a mechanic's stethoscope would help you narrow down the location of the rattle.

Not audible when at idle.
It's throttle dependent under slight or no load when driving very lightly. As soon as I lift my foot, sound disappears.

I think it's related to our infamous tick. It comes and goes in my car like the tick. Had the car since 58k miles now it's at 140k.
It's more apparent in the summer.

Got a video of the sound?

A little weird, but you can take a stethoscope, take off the part that does the listening, and place the tube onto different parts of the engine while someone is applying light throttle.

A long screwdriver works as well

Spin each pulley by hand too. The alternator, PS and AC will feel weird, but should not grind. (You're feeling their clutches/hubs/internals spin around instead of just a pulley on a bearing)

Also I'd just take the cabin air filter cowl off, engine cover off and just start grabbing stuff and see if anything is loose, brackets, wire harnesses, etc. Maybe it's the cover itself??

It's not loud enough. And only does it when driving.
