E92 WHITE ANGEL EYES - installation question

I wanna change my E92 angel eyes whiter and brighter.

I have watched some diy´s and am a bit confused, some diy´s are done straight behind the headlights and some by removing front wheel and plastic arch ???

Are these different bulb operations?

Some advertisements talk about H8 halo bulbs and some about angel eyes led markers ? same thing or ???

Help needed. Thanks.

If I'm not mistaking to change the AE you just need to go through the housing which you just need to pop the hood and remove the cover on the top of the headlight housing. To change the low beam you need to go through the wheel and plastic.

Now I know some people just replace the bulb for the AE, if you want whiter and brighter you may want to look at purchasing an AE HID kit. there are a few vendors here who sell them.. hope this helped

07-10 E92/E93 (Pre-LCI) have a cover on top of the headlight that you lift and remove.

Don't wanna start a new thread so thought I would post in this one.

On an E92 if I can't go through the engine bay to install these (no luck, hands are to big).. Can I go through the fender after removing the tire and fender wall? Or is that only on the E90?

There's no other way of changing the e92 bulbs. My hand always comes out all scraped up.

The E92 angel eyes use a H8 bulb to light up the rings. Each headlight utilizes 1 bulb to illuminate both of the rings. There are a number of options out there ranging from different color halogen bulbs to higher quality LED angel eye bulbs. LED's can give you the best look depending on the kit you choose. One option is our LUX H8 V5 which is often rated as the #1 product by members of this forum. Please let me know if you have any questions we can assist with

No the only way to access the angel eye bulb is from the small cover on the top of it with the E92's. Small hands definitely comes in handy for this job. With the e90 pre-lci models you can access it from the back, but not with the E92's

removing the plastic cover directly on top of the headlight housing is suffice for installation for the E92 E93 and all M3's, we have plenty of pictures and videos via our website to help with installation. counterwise for both headlights, twist and turn. please free to contact us and we can explain in further detail if needed. shouldn't take no more than 15 to 20 minutes.
