eBay 4" exhaust tip

Ive been looking for a cheaper alternative to Cyba tips for a while, you guys have got me sold. Just ordered 2!

I was thinking the same thing but was very happy when they arrived and even happier when they were installed.

You don't want to leave the diffuser unpainted... In 6 months to a year, the sunlight will make it turn yellowish...

I don't know how it arrives. I think it arrived black, but I don't know. I didn't see it before the shop put it on.

Oh I thought it was the same diffuser in the before and after pic but you just had it painted black.

Oh, it's the same diffusor. My car was just dirty from the salt/snow in the first pic.

Hi all, I need a bit of clarification on the inlet diameter, because I'm seeing different numbers through out this thread. Further search didn't help either.

Should I look for tips with 2.25 or 2.5 inch? I know the one OP got is 2.25. So far I prefer Magnaflow one. On AA website, it's listed as 2.25 with wrong picture. On Magnaflow website with the same part number, it shows 2.5..

The magnaflow's inner diameter is 2.5 but they'll be able to weld it on with no problem. The proper inner diameter should be 2.25 though.

For those that retained the stock flap, did the tips stick out more than before? I've seen these installed on my buddy's car with the stock flap and it seems to stick out more.

No, I think they stick out just as far as the stock tips did.

The tips are tucked in about 1/4" more than the stock tips on mine

Sometimes I tuck only the tip back and that's convincing enough.

Shitty packaging and the end of the outside one tore through the cheap foam and is scratched up on the lip.

Just a heads up for anyone considering them.

That sucks. Mine were packaged well and looked great. Sorry it didn't work out for you. Is the seller going to send a new set?
