Meth Kits AEM vs Snow with MHD
Does anyone have either of these kits with the controller with MHD? What percent mixture water and meth are you using? Do you have a custom tune or are you using an OTS map?
Any info helps. Thanks!

MHD has nothing to do with controlling your METH kit. Although i dont have a meth kit installed on my BMW i did on my mazdaspeed. Aquamist one.
The meth controller will adjust that amount mased on ur boost/MAP sensor or MAF, as well as for direct injected PWM of injector. Those are some of the popular modes. So as long as you spray in conjunction with one of those parameters or a combination of 2 you should be good. This control is done from the meth controller. It reads ur DME info. ( Case of aquamist controller) You can than tune with this but the tune does not "control the meth". It will work together with it. Idk if i was clear enough. |

I had the AEM controller with the BMS Cooling Mist kit while running MHD. I didn't tune the car differently with methanol but also think I may have had an issue with the flow since I didn't see as much benefit as when I was running the FSB on the JB4. At the time I was running about 50/50 mix.

Ant speak for specific kits and nozzles. But the biggest benefit of running these kits is to advance timing. That gives u torque. Thats why meth kits are so popular with diesel cars. Meth and water are soo good at supressing knock. You have to have a custom tune to take advantage of this supression.
