Man I am a huge fan of the "burnished cap toe" on dress shoes!

Yeah, the burnished cap is big time. That's how I rock mine too. I have numerous shades of blue pants that i'll wear with them, not about wearing them with jeans but to each their own. Just match your belt with your shoes and you are golden, doesn't have to be a neutral shirt I mix it up frequently.

Yeah I may be out of the trends when it comes to dress clothes these days. I haven't worn dress clothes on a regular basis in about 5 years. Used to wear a suit and tie daily. These days it's a dickies style work shirt and jeans, work dress code since we are a food manufacturing facility. Some of the coworkers in the office try to dress up but then to put the dickies shirt over it just looks like they are trying way too hard to separate themselves from the production employees.

A few trends I have not taken to are skinny jeans/dress pants. To be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of pleated pants but I like baggy pants/jeans as long as they aren't falling off. I'm 5' 9" and 185# and some things just don't look right on me. The more tailored looking styles I'm not a fan of. I prefer comfortablity over being stylish although I don't like dressing like someone who's lived under a rock for the past 10 years. Now keep in mind I used to be a skater and a tattoo artist so my style is still a lot of t-shirts and baggy shorts but most of my closet is dress shirts I still wear with shorts on ocassion. Don't really have a need to wear many dress clothes these days. When the girlfriend and I do go out, it's usually to the movies or somewhere casual. We're more into saving money these days than styling it up....ironically I own a 3 series.

You have swayed my opinion of the burnished toe. That pair that looks like wood are everything!

I see you rocking some tight rolls in your jeans. Is this a thing again? Not poking fun, genuinely asking.

The wood looking pair looks slick!

Magnanni makes a fine dress shoe but most of them don't look right on me. Ferragamos are my go-to

Thats not me, I was responding to his toe shoes lol. But yes, I sometimes roll my jeans. Depends on the cut and which shoes im wearing. Some shoes I like the jean not cover them too much so by rolling them up it exposes the shoes a little more and my fun socks. Just depends. im young though so my style might be a little weird

That's cool. That's the cool shit with younger people. You guys can dress in ways that will get us older types made fun of or told we are trying too hard.

I'm about these, the others seem like they might be difficult to match with different outfits. Like I said matching shoes with the belt is key. To each their own but I'm picky and not a fan of black soles with brown shoes I try to find brown or a wood colored sole.

Yeah dress clothes are constantly getting tighter and tighter so its tough to keep up with. That being said my slacks may be a little tighter, but the materials are mad comfortable and I don't have a problem sitting for numerous hours a day in the button down and slacks I wear atleast 4x a week, business casual work place.

I'm 5' 10" 195 so were not far apart there, its all about finding brands that fit you well. I don't fit right in half the shit I try on, but you find some good stuff out there every now and again.

Don't knock it until you try it. I HATE WEARING SHOES. They feel weird and screw up my walking mechanics. I was searching for a minimalist shoe some years back and came across these. They are awesome. At least I didn't get the crazy color ones. Just straight black.

lol That's a photo I found on the web. Not me. Although, I will say I do roll up my jeans a couple inches when it's hot in the office to get some air to my legs. lol
