They always look nice but are a pain to keep clean.

I recently picked up some Adidas kicks in black with white bottom. They look sort of like Ultraboost but were only $80. Took them on my vacation after where I did a lot of hiking. They would have been screwed if they were white.

That is an excellent point! Even though I try and not purposely jack up my shoes, inevitably, "shit happens"! Especially when you factor in being out in public: spills, residual dirt from the ground, getting stepped on accidentally, etc.
What I started doing years ago, was before I even wear a light color pair of athletic shoes (white or neon) I spray them with a water and stain repeller at least a day or 2 before wearing. This has given me great results!

Triple Black PureBoost DPR LTD

I am really digging these! The look and feel are on point. Not as plush as the UltraBoost but still a damn comfy shoe and a little more stylish too.

First pair of Timberlands go on my feet tomorrow. My two pair of Redwings were 8 & 9 years old and one of my pairs of Justin's was 7. Numerous resoles extended use but leather eventually gives out. I expect to get more life from them since I'm working indoors building Facebook nearly sitting on my ass.

Mine are like these. Have a black pair but they're more subtle. Definitely some of the more flashy shoes on the market which I love. Quality is outstanding.

I've been eyeballing some Monk Straps myself. These caught my eye...

I had once a pair in black and I loved them. But, if you had to pass some security check points at entering high secure area onto several airports more than one time a day the monk straps would annoy you instantly...
