Front seat problem
I have a 2009 328i, the front seats have the extension that pulls out. The drivers seat works fine but the passenger seat will not stay retracted back. It stays extended. It looks like the plastic clip is broken that keeps it locked back. Where can I get a new clip?

It would be a dealer-only item. Based on the seat schematic from realoem.com. item No.21 appears to be the part that retains the thigh bolster. P/N is 52107161312: Connection element for thigh support.
Just a guess on my part.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
