Kind of harsh to be banned without a warning though. Couldn't they have just asked nicely for him to remove the thread? Hopefully he isn't permab& and can come back in. Seemed like an interesting kid.

My guess is it was the walnut GB thing, the warning on promoting non sponsor services is clearly posted above.... so fair enough. For someone new to the forum he seemed like a pretty helpful guy posting DIYs, organizing meets, drives etc so pretty sure it would have been an honest newbie mistake. I'm sure he's continuing to read the threads. RIP Drill
