How to adjust Koni Yellows
I recently got Koni Yellow struts installed on my car. I had a shop do it, but did not tell them what to adjust them to. They said they just installed it however it came out of the box.
Does anyone know how they come from the factory? Does anyone think I could feel it if one side was different from the other? Is there a way to adjust the shocks while they are installed, or do I have to take them off then do it? Thanks |

I have the knob. I would just like to know if it's possible to adjust the shocks after they have been installed, and the car resting on them (not jacked up).
I would like to know if it's even possible before I start taking things apart. |

You can adjust the front with the knob with the shocks still installed and loaded.
The rear you have to preload the shock and turn the whole assembly while loaded. There should be instructions in the koni boxes.

you could just detach the bottom bolt then compress and turn the shock while the top is still secure. I just adjusted mine before installation =)

Taking the shocks/dampers out is referring to the rear ones, you cannot adjust the rears with the "knob", only the fronts. Danny

Funny how that is sometimes, another member (Hong Kong) said that he saw an arctic with volks and thought of my car, many thousands of miles away! Danny
