What is the largest rim you can fit on a stock 335i?
I'll be purchasing a 335i soon, and soon after will be looking to get some new rims. I like the look of a wheel well filled with mostly rim and a little bit of tire. I don't want too low profile of a tire though, I want the ride to stay somewhat nice and don't want to worry about hitting every little bump in the road. I want to keep the car stock though. I just want to bolt on some sick rims and tires, nothing else. What do you guys suggest? Any pics of cars so I can see the set up you are talking about would be VERY much appreciated. Thanks in advance everyone!

What do I suggest? Don't make it look like shit by putting 20in + chrome rims on it? What do you do in it, deal drugs?

check out wheels under Sponsors, 19' is the usual that people go with, cause it looks nice...18's doesn't look as full, and 20's make u look like your ghetto. In terms of companies you got a wide range and quality wise: VMR, Miro, Avant Garde, Advan, Volks, Iconz<333, DPE, HRE...there alot of companies just depend on your personal preference.

I hate to say it but even with sports package rims and run flats your going to be avoiding pot holes, unless you want bubbles on your tires. if you're going aftermarket though I replaced my stock 18" 162's with M6 reps. They're 19x8.5 rims with 245/35/19 tires on the front and 19x9.5 rims with 275/30/19 tires on the rear. I did install the TPMS monitors in these as well. I didn't install any wheel spacers and I haven't ever rubbed or bottomed out!

Thanks! I'm not looking for some ghetto chrome. I really like the VMR wheels and these others I think they are called CSL or something like that. Does that sound familiar? I was figuring 19" would work, but wasn't sure if you could fit a 20" without it rubbing or any other mods.

The VMR VB3 is a CSL Style replica wheel and is one of the most popular designs to date! Here's a few pictures for you to check out. Feel free to shoot me over a PM if you have any questions at all!

These wheels are called the VB3's from VMR, also known as the CSL style wheel. Great wheels, and the price is even better. Feel free to PM me if you want a set like in the pictures. |

One of the cleanest E90's we've had through these doors. And a great daily driving set up, no rubbing issues when you go with the right tires, but it's still aggressive to win shows Thanks for the PMs guys! Looks like a got quite a bit more to respond to from this thread!! |

You were right, I really like the blue. What mods did you make to the suspension of the blue car? That's not a stock set up is it?

More than likely they are coilovers, but some H&R Race springs can give similar results. Standard sport springs are usually not that low.

I love the stance on that blue car. I need to get me some springs.
