I'm looking to do a boost leak test this weekend. I have 2 ends to cap of the intakes to pressurize the system but not sure if there's anything else that I need to cap off? I'm also running both BMS catch can (boost and vacuum). Do I need to do anything with that?

I tried doing some research but I couldn't find anything with my specific application. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

It's easier to do a smoke test 😉

Probably but the leak doesn't start until around 17 psi. I'm not sure if a smoke leak test would show it.

How do you know that?

I don't know for sure but it doesn't hold boost passed that. I've recently replaced both boost solenoids and vacuum lines but still having the issue. Any suggestions on how to either do a boost leak test or smoke test? I heard the plastic intake pipes can only hold about 10 psi.

To test that high, you need to disconnect the turbo outlet from the intercooler and test just the intercooler on down.
