No it's not mate, the fuse diagram you get with the car, it don't even show it on there. I have ask a lot of people they don't have clue where it is.

So it's a pain

Surely you just want the fuse for the main beam then? Won't the unit just connect to that circuit?

To the OP - ignore the reprobates above, they're just jealous

Does your car have Xenon lights? If so, you can't connect the strobing kit to the headlights as it won't work with main beam. The main beam is actually a mirror/lens that flips up and down to control the light throw.

You'd have to connect the strobing kit to the fog lights - there should be a separate fuse for that though. I'll see if I can dig out which fuse number it is exactly.

Good luck, and remember to post a detailed video when it's all done

I just can't understand why others haven't implemented this 'upgrade' previously?!

Having spoken to a traffic officer friend of mine, he said ’WTF does he think he's doing? He can't do f'kin' do that!', although I do think he'd just had his 8th Aftershock at the time.

Obviously, the police must be having some problems with the flasher circuits on their own BMWs. If Business Edition can manage to produce an effective working circuit, I'm sure he'll gain quite some interest from them.

Will's certainly a resourceful individual & I can certainly recommend his 'Cuffs 'n Stuff' service, which he provides 'on the quiet'. However, despite his contacts in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia & Basildon, I think he may still have problems sourcing an effective unit for your car. The last one he acquired would only flash red & green, but would play Jingle Bells, albeit only on every 3rd attempt. The 'V-Tech' logo was a bit of a giveaway, although he continues to maintain that they are actually an upcoming motoring electronics giant from Finchley.

Best wishes & good luck with your hunt for a flasher.

Viv

Yeah they must be haha.

No I haven't got xenons, I have put hids in. It's not a strob kit they are easy to install. The think I have is flashing control box*is designed to flash high beam headlights on vehicles with negative ground systems. (Which most cars have) It produces an alternating "wig-wag" effect. However it can be fitted to work on your rear tail lights or front fogs the choice is yours.

Thank you that would be really helpful if you could.

Once again thanks i appreciate all the help

Some people don't like it and some don't. But it's something different I have done not seen it on many cars. It's really easy to do. So if you want to do it let me know I will tell you where to get it from was cheap to.
