You'll need to wait until someone posts it online if you want it for free or pay one of the online vendors that have updates. I wait personally but I did get notified by a online vendor that it's available now.

That's fair, but getting the map files is the major hurdle since FSC codes can be generated. Good luck!

followed the instructions and got everything going well until 79.9% . It gives me "data is unreadable error". I tried 3 different usb drives. I've also tried different file extractions software, ie winrar and 7zip.

I believe its still holding the temp files that it was trying to install on the car because everytime i try to load a map with a different usb it reattempts to install from 79%. anyone have any suggestions? I'd like to start from scratch or try to load 2022 map. When attempting the 2022 map it starts at 0% and then same msg. unreadable file

Issue is your CIC firmware is too old. Must be updated before new map can install.

I assume this is my issue also as the navigation software is original and likely the firmware of the CIC. Any readily available downloads or does it need to be done in INPA?

Car needs to be programmed by Dealer or you can flash CIC Head Unit with WinKFP and an ICOM Interface.

Luckily it finally worked.

Piece of advice for others trying to update their software...try all steps multiple times if they don't work. The last one with trying to get the car to upload the new maps took like 7 or 8 attempts. Not sure if it made a difference but I took the config file and other "pkgdb" folder out of the shell folder in hopes it would make the car see it easier.

It absolutely made a difference. There's no real file browser for you to point to the correct file in another folder, so the system is looking for the config file at the root of the drive.

Sorry to be posting this here but does anyone have CCC map files or the CD for a 2011 328i? I'm in the LA area and can drive to you. Greatly appreciate some help with this.
