Im just wondering if the e90 m3 trunk is interchangable with normal e90s (pre lci)

It'll fit fine and same the other way around.

M3 rear quarters are the wider bits the trunks are the same.

They are the same. I bought a CSL trunk off an M3 & it fits exactly the same. Then I sold my OEM trunk to a Pre-LCI owner.

They're different, but if you search around, there is a guy who did a conversion like that, from E90 Pre-lci to E92 Pre lci, front bumper

Member Alen E90 has E90 with E92 front, but it means that you need to change fenders, hood, headlights, bumper etc.
