Hi all,

Im running a 320d MY2010 M-Sport and an iPhone 8.

Bluetooth pairing only works about 10% of the time. With my previous iPhone 6 I had no problems.

The BMW compatibility tool per the link below for my model of car only shows iPhone support up to iPhone 5. This isnt correct either as my iPhone 6 worked perfectly.

From the iPhone 8 Apple went to bluetooth V5 and I suspect this does not work (well) with the 320d MY2010, however BMW dont seem to acknowledge this anywhere that I can see.

BMW service were no help at all.

Im running the latest IOS, performed all the resets and reboots. Seeking some advice on what info to follow and trust from the group?

did you ever figure this out? I can't connect my iphone 8 to my car. It shows up on my phone but times out and and says pairing unsuccessful.
