They said the normal time frame would put me in early Jan however, with all the holidays coming up I am thinking the end of Jan.

ah ok, so the normal 3 months. For reference, when I ordered my car, I ordered late July so I got hit by the August downtime out in Germany. My car started production 1st of September or thereabouts and then was completed on the 10th or 12th of Sept... can't quite remember. It was then stateside (26 days or so on the boat) October 12th and finally at Murray Motors on the 17th with me taking delivery on the 19th of October. So a little over 3 months for me because of August.

I went to the dealer and they let me drive an M3 around for about 45 minutes. Based on just the sound alone, I almost walked away with it right there...but my bank account would have never forgiven me.

I also didn't know the M3's got the gas guzzler charge, that sucks.

Thats awesome man, I personally like the CSL package, but thats me, Id get the CSL package and I am sure you could probably trade someone for those rims, unless it comes with anything else different that is. Just think what E46 CSL is like though, all the non-csl guys wish they had the CSL, so just something to think about.

Congrats again, awesome purchase. How many times has the 335 been back in the shop since May and for what issues? Same stuff or did different things arise?

Also, why not do the Euro delivery on the car??? Trust me, going to the Welt and such was so awesome, I made a promise to myself that when I get a brand new BMW, Im getting it Euro delivery no doubt. Taking it out on the autobahn and seeing Germany, that would just be an awesome experience.
