Nope that wasn't me. I did see another red E92 M3 the other day near DTC. It was quite sad. It almost felt like an out of body experience lol.

On that note, guess what I did see on Arapahoe yesterday... A brand new Orange 1M! It was going the other direction so I didn't get a chance to check out the sound or anything but I noticed it right away.

This is my exact concern as well with downpipes. I like the BMW PE, but I just want a bit more sound outta it in the lower RPM range and a bit louder up top.... was hoping downpipes would take care of that, but I just hate the high end rasp... considering trying a secondary cat delete maybe, but not sure if it's even worth it.

Perhaps you may try changing your tips? They DO make a difference in sound. I have stock tips on mine and it made my sound a tad deeper and less at higher end, not much tho just a tad. I'd say maybe 3.8"-4" tips might help. Think about it, musical instruments flare out at different size for a different sound. Same principle here.

Yeah, I'd be putting a set of quad tips onto the setup... it sounds SO NICE with downpipes like INCREDIBLY nice... just the rasp up top under heavy load ruins the whole sound for me. I was hoping my buddies who's I heard had an exhaust leak or something to cause the rasp haha.

Maybe try resonated DP's from AR??

Yeah, that's more then likely the best solution for sure, just hope the resonators don't make the PE quieter instead of the DP's making the PE louder haha.
