This car has come so far since I saw it in person last summer. We're gonna have to do another cookout and get together for the Boston folks so I can see it again.
By the way, did you try seeing what the halos looked like in sunlight with just the LEDs attached at the end? I absolutely do NOT have the patience to do what you're doing to do all those SMD LEDs, but I have thought about doing a couple at each end like you pictured and then sanding/frosting the halos to disperse the light more evenly. I figure building little driver pucks for them would be pretty easy and you could even retain the nighttime dimming capability if you did it right. That said, I'm terrified of taking my heat gun to my headlights.

Hey OP, did you need to buy some special connector in order for the m3 front fender side lights to work properly? or was it just plug and play?
and was it a PITA to change the oem 335i window washer tank to the oem m3 tank washer tank on the passenger side fender? and since your 335i front bumper had the pop out sprayers, will the pop up sprayers still work on the oem m3 front bumper as long as the oem m3 front bumper has the pop out sprayer cut outs? btw car looks amazing, im really wanting to do the m3 front conversion and when i have more money do the rear flares |
