So I'm waiting for the dealership to ship this car from Alberta to Ontario, they call me yesterday and said that they had a huge snow storm and when they dusted the snow off the car, the windshield had a couple of cracks. Now they have to replace the windshield. 3-5 days before the part comes in and THEN they will ship it.
The salesman that was helping me told me the vehicle was supposed to ship on Tuesday. Apparently they misplaced the paperwork that I sent them so they didn't deal with the shipping til wednesday. I was thinking of asking for some sort of discount. I just sold the car that I have so now I'm gonna have to get a rental. Not happy about this. |

that sucks to hear man, but here in edmonton we really did get pounded with the snow, there were also over 200 accidents yesterday alone. they should compensate you with a rental vehicle

yeah it was crazy, today the roads are still pretty bad, hopefully the city addresses it before the commute home.

Wow nice, congrats on the new car. I really like the interior and I like where you are going with the car already with the lux and tints, I would recommend 20% but thats just my opinion especially because of the light interior. As for future mods, lower it, splitters/front lip, wheels (not necessarily that order). to lower a car i would recommend coil overs or springs with a good set of struts, I would not recommend just springs. Take your time do your research there is a lot of good information on the forum and do it right the first time and you will be happy good luck!

Agreed. Now, what is even stranger is that when I bought the car the windows were not tinted (as you can see by the original photos on page 1). So the salesamn sent me a pic of the vehicle in the repair bay and now all of a sudden the windows are all tinted at 5%??? I wanted the windows tinted anyway but wtf??
I have yet to see the vehicle in person because I live in a different province, but this all seems strange to me. |

Update with tint
Shoot it does need a drop eh?
This is my car in the repair bay at BMW Edmonton. Still waiting delivery but a snowstorm cracked the windshield. Suddenly, the windows are tinted at 5% lol. I was gonna do it anyways. Just strange cuz they weren't tinted in the original photos. |

Black Kidney Grills
I was just reading up on Black Kidney Grills and was thinking they might look better than stock.
Anyone here have any thoughts or reccomendations between CF, Matte, etc.? |

I did plastidip, but my car has the moustache and is white, so it improve significantly its look.
Now on your black car, I'm afraid it'll make the front end "boring". CF will look stupid, Matte will make a weird contrast with glossy black, and glossy will just make it blend so much as to look sorry. Maybe you could try to set it in bright glossy color, to match other colored items in/out (but that's bold). Would leave it alone. |
