Spooling turbo noise, good bad, or OK.
2007 e90 335i
Built sept 06. When cold, start car, drive normal I here turbos spool up. No rattle at all. No burning oil. But even when car is warmed up, travelling in school zone like 25m/he. Then give gas to get to 45 range....I hear turbo spool. Any ideas why I am hearing it now. Oil is mobile 1 0w40 Location, Vancouver Canada. Did oil change and oil level sensor 5 days ago. PS: not my first oil change on this car. DN |

Good power on take off. I have heard it before just when I shut car off in the garage..... As the turbos spool down. It happens when it's cold starts for like 30 min or so. When oil temp is at full normal above 210, then I don't hear it. I will try to get a video, but never fine it before. Time to pop that cherry. DN |
