iPod Issue

So I am trying to get my old iPod 3rd gen Nano to work in my 08 135i and am having some issues.

1st it would not read it. So I reformatted from Mac to PC and now it reads. So progress!

Now it reads very weird though...

Notice how it does not give me any song details until the track is selected? It is impossible to pick a track and/or album right now. Any ideas???

So if I select ACMX above Rev Heat it might be a White Strip song.
If I select BNKN below Rev Heat it might be the Black Keys...

Any ideas?
