Bluetooth problem e92 2007 with idrive

hiii

Ive got idrive in my car , the bluetooth doesnt seem to be working .it works very rarely . The phone cant find it most of the times even after pairing it the first time

Thinking of changing the bluetooth module as dont want to spend a lot for combox

Can some one please guide me on changing the bluetooth module /antenna ? And does it require any sort of coding or is it just plug and play

it will work without coding but will show your vin only after coding
you better to look under floor in the boot to see which module you have -TCU, or MULF or both of them if you have USB Audio too

I have usb in dash only not with aux

if you get replacement part from car breaker it will show VIN of the breaked car during bluetooth pairing
