Interesting visual of size difference between companies

I had a set of tires that didnt rub, thenI ordered the same size from a different manufacturere and they rubbed. I had them both off the car at the same time so I did a commparison and the difference betweent the two is significant even though they are numerically the same size by the numbers on the sides.
245/35 and 275/30
Continental and bridgestone are the two companies with the Bridgestones being wider than the Continentals and wder than Goodyear Eagle Assymmetrics. Just thought I would post the pics sort of as FYI.

1. Mounted or unmounted?

2. Which models of tires?

Unmounted, Bridgestone Poteza RE11 and Continental Conti SportContact 2. The ones on the car now are Goodyear Eagle Asymmetrics and I had no rubbing with them last time and no problems this set either. I wanted to ttry a different tire and heard the Bridgestones were great tires. never found out because they rubbed too much and stopped using the car until got a new set.. It was the Bridgestones that gave me the trouble. Hoping to find someone that has rolled fenders or something so I can sell them.
