I hear ya on that. Had my car towed in SF and they tagged on an extra $50-something because they needed a flatbed.

Sweet! Welcome! Haha, I think you're the only one who has posted on here with your car on a flatbed that hasn't broke down... yet

hate to say it but ive been in the towing industry for a long time and the problem is how low the car is the wheel lift on towtrucks can damage the bumper or undercarriage. especially when on a soft dirt road like that. better paying 150 than buying a new oil pan or bumper

Wow. That sucks. I finally decided to get the E60 doughnut with jack insert. It was just under $300 for everything, but well worth it to avoid what you and others have gone through with a flat.

Fair enough, but you came back to the thread 4 months later to clarify that? Hahaha!

It says e90, go here http://bavauto.com/ search for spare. Get the product code, and email them to be sure.

Happened a few years ago. Electrical gremlins popped up and lit up the dash like a Christmas tree. Didn't want to chance driving it so BMW towed it

Deer vs S4.

335 has yet to see a tow; knock on wood. Actually, it almost needed a tow one time when the water pump was failing. Thank god I managed to make it home, which was 45 minutes away, but it turned into a couple hours making sure it was babied all the way back.

These tow companies would be loving us right now with all this publicity they're getting
