BMW E90 Braking/Biting Feeling on Low RPM

I have a 2008 E90 N46 model. Lately (around 90k miles), I've been experiencing a very weird feeling when the car is moving very slowly (mostly in Stop/Go traffic). It usually happens on RPMs between 700-1200 and the car simply pulls hard as if breaking really hard for less than a second, or as if something is biting for a split second.

Previously, I've had issues with timing and VANOS but those are fixed now. Also, I've changed the transmission fluid to the specified grade (with a new filter). I've also performed the latest software updates on all the modules.

If anyone has an idea about this, I would be extremely grateful. Thanks!
