If yes, how'd you fit those in the front?

Looks good!
265/35/18. Nothing drastic from a suspension standpoint. It's lowered a bit and has Dinan static camber plates, about -2*. Fender rolled, and the bumper to fender mount closest to the tire was cut off, and another hole drilled to secure the bumper a bit closer to the headlight.

Oh and a 3mm spacer for strut clearance. It actually clears without the spacer, but the tire is SOOOOO close that I put a 3mm in there for peace of mind.

First off, nice work! I'm impressed you squeezed a 265 under there.

Any pictures of this or more info on how you secured it after drilling a new hole?
I'm really curious as this sounds like exactly what I need to keep my Advans from rubbing as that's the only spot that causes any issues.

I do. All the pictures are on my phone though and not convenient for me to post now. Give me a few to get them transferred over and I'll show you.

OK here are a few pics, should be pretty self explanatory.

The bumper and fender both need a bit of cutting, and a hole drilled in each one. It's easiest to drill the hole first before cutting anything or even taking any of the bolts out so you know it will fit right.

The bumper has a little metal bracket tucked into it that needs to be cut too, but once you have it off it's really easy to see what I mean. And on the fender, once you cut the metal bracket off there's a bit of hard black plastic that needs to be cut off too.

Which tool did you use to cut, all I have is a big file, a weak dremel, and small saw blades for an electric saw.

I definitely wouldn't go with an electric saw. Dremel with a good cutting wheel will do it. Tin snips should do it too and finish off with a file. Honestly just get good sharp tools (and good tools in general). Buying cheap tools is way more expensive when something goes wrong or you have to replace it with something better. And even good cutting tools are pretty cheap.

Good luck guys. It's easy, can be done in about an hour or so.

Seems to be alot of good deals out there on used slicks, but i've never run them and know they're sizings are much more aggressive.

I'm feeling Satin Black...

Any profile 3 pics of the Hyperblack finish on an E90?
I don't care if it's M or non-M. Prefer to see it on a Sparkling Graphite, Jerez Black or Space Grey E90.
how do i sign up for the group buy?

Did you put a nut and bolt in the new hole or just ziptie it?

Thanks for all your help, Ryan & David!

Finally got my arc8's and couldn't be happier! So much lighter than my old setup. Went with a square setup of 17x9 et30's on 255/40/17 DWS's. Stock xDrive suspension and not a single rub. No spacers. You can all guess what's next on the mod list. Only crappy phone pics right now, but I'll add a few fwiw...

I have an LCI E90. Can't decide between square 18x9 ET31 ( what size tire 235?), or staggered with 9.5 ET35 rears.

I have perfectly good 225/255 tires that I would like to use for another 5-10k miles.

Open to suggestions.

I would tell you to go with the staggered setup because the concavity of the 9.5 rears will look great.

That's a good point. Would I be okay with 225 on a 9" and 255 on a 9.5" for the remainder of their tread life?

EDIT: not sure I like that, looks pretty stretched.

Just run a 12mm spacer up front on the 8.5 et38 rim. That's what I have right now and it sits pretty flush.

Help?

Hey guys I'm kinda new to the whole working on cars thing, could anybody make a suggestion for me? I have a 2012 E92 335xi M-Sport, I want all wheels to be flush with the body, what size should I get for the ARC-8's as well as tires?

Thanks!

I'm looking at these wheels again.

Are there any reasons why someone would prefer a 17" over 18" for an E92 LCI 335i fitment?

I'll probably run a small BBK (Performance Friction) so it probably won't have any clearance issues.

Also has anyone used these for snow tire wheels?
