I rejoice hearing you have a new tale to spin

I read each one through. several times. My only regret is that I'm not in the passenger seat.

You write so well I feel I am

Rick F. Speaking of North Central PA, I think US 15 from Williamsport up into Corning may be one of the most fun driving roads in the eastern USA. Freeway all the way, really well engineered curves, climbs, and declines, it's pure fun for a BMW!

Thanks for posting this. I really enjoyed it. I moved away from PA 7 years ago. I'm from the Pittsburgh area but I went to Penn State and Camp Woodward and really love the middle of the state. I'm also a history teacher so this wrapped up nicely.

Absolutely awesome quality pictures and writeup! I was born and raised in Harrisburg and currently reside in Etters along the river. I know there is a heck of a lot of history in PA but for all the local history that you brought to light I am amazed at what i did not know about my area. Thank you!

Coats,

You're quite welcome! It's a great area for scenery and history, and I always enjoy touring there.
