Remote key trunk button open glass in touring?

Good day all!

I have an E91 touring/wagon, and there's a button on the remote to open the trunk, which I *never* use, because it is useless... the tailgate will not open itself so you have to grab it and lift it anyways, so why not just press the release in the handle.

Has anyone found a setting to enable that button to do something else, like to pop the tailgate *glass*?

Apparently this is buried in Carly somewhere, but I don't have or use Carly...

Yeap in F11 U can choose between "glass" or trunk. If U have a NCSExpert software U can check this in FRM or CAS module. Try to search somethig like : "heck, schiebe, fernbedinung, Heckklappe" and show us what U find.
