Style 230 rear wheel/tires on the front

I can confirm that they worked on my car, a 2013 335is with the extra stock oil cooler, all stock suspension and no spacers or anything. I was really surprised that they do not rub in any way even at full lock left or right. They are 19x9 et 39 with 255/30/19 PZero runflats. They poke out just a little too far in the front for my tastes so I wouldn't run them just for looks but I have to admit, it does look cool having that fat of a wheel/tire combo in front.

I checked the clearance and I would say there is about 1/10th of an inch between the tire and the strut body. I say tire because my tire sticks out just a tad further than the wheel rim. I was able to easily fit some paper in between the tire and strut to check that clearance did exist and drove on it for about a week with zero issues, just for testing purposes. Just wanted to let you guys know, maybe someone wants to run a square setup consisting of all rear wheels and tires from style 230's or 313's. They work well but the particular tire may have to be carefully chosen. Michelin PS 4S's maybe won't clear due to their square shoulders.

Are the white spots in the front rock chips?

Yup, they are rock chips. This car has a bunch of them and I made the mistake of waxing it recently so all the rock chips turned white from wax and they really stand out now. I don't know how to fix it.

I had the same issue when I bought my car. If you want to hide them you can try Turtle Wax Jet Black kit. It made it better, but make sure you use gloves when applying it. What made it even better is polishing it with Menzerma SIP.
Prior to getting my car I’ve never seen a damage like that, and I’ve had quite a few black cars. I guess BMW uses super soft black paint.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll look into doing that. When I bought the car, it had a ton of rock chips. I thought the previous owner must have tailgated people nonstop on some gravelly roads as well. Turns out I got a bunch of new rock chips and rock dings that went through the paint and dinged the hood while in my possession. The car is a rock magnet.

I usually follow at a real respectful distance in all my previous cars and don't usually have any problems, but it is too easy to catch up to people in this car when having fun. A full 3M clear bra covering the entire hood and front bumper is going on my next car.

I recently put on 245/35/19 Ventus Evo2 on my front 230 style wheels and they rub the front fender liners. I may try a 30 series tire next time if they make one in that size that matches.

I see two 245/30/19 tires on TireRack that would fit your front rim, the PILOT SPORT 4S and the P ZERO RUN FLAT. The PZero's are a pretty safe bet to fit considering that I fit a 255/30/19 on the front on a wider, higher offset rim even. But keep in mind I have stock suspension. Not sure if the Pilot Sports will fit since they tend to run wide for the size.

After running the PZero run flats for 10k miles, I think the Pilot Sport 4S are a much better tire imo.
