what's it worth with a misfire cylinder 3

recently had new injector on cylinder 4, 4 new spark plugs, oil and filter changed, nox sensor.
about 6 months ago I had both reluctor rings swapped and new sensors.
I've now got a misfire on cylinder 3. it's drivable but you can feel it on hard acceleration.
I have basically ran out of money to fix it and have been givern a company vehicle so it's just on drive looking nice.
I'm sure it's an easy fix for an enthusiast and there will be money to be made but I'm not very car savy.
so what do you guys think it's worth?

Like E92 420 says you need to put more info in. How can we value it if you don't advertise it?
Is it petrol/Diesel?
I can see it's got base audio, and it's an LCI (post 2008).
Have you got an error code for the misfire? It'll be worth more if you can get someone to plug diagnostics in to give you an error message. There might be a forum member nearby who can help.

Right now, with the information you've posted...£3500 feels about right. Could be more if it's a Diesel since they're always in demand.

That car is fitted with the N43 petrol engine.
I have owned my E92 320i N43 close to 5 years now and have concluded it does need a regular DIY maintenance or expensive visits to garage.
If you can do DIY its low maintenance with only issues being the injectors

From my experience the 4 injectors have come to the end of its life and ideally should have swapped all 4.
Also money would have been better spent on the other injectors instead of a £400 NOX sensor.

Although i don't think its right but you better off getting a used latest version of index 11 on forums as some people replace full set but some injectors still have some life left. That will take care of the test drive for any potential buyers.. but like i said i don't think its right to do that.

Cant think average person would pay money for a misfire engine.. most just walk away unless then have knowledge of that engine.

However knowing what i know about this engine I would buy that car as its really good looking Msport.. but i would ask you to consider the price of 4 new injectors which normally retail at BMW @£250 each

The parts are just so expensive and my diy knowledge is very little thats why i was just going off advice of garage to just swap the 1 faulty injector.
I wouldn't want to sell the car with a quick fix as its not fair on the buyer thats why i was just thinking of telling the truth and taking the hit on value to sell as is.
This whole saga is just doing my head in, that's the reason I joined this forum to try and better my understanding of whats going on.
Thanks for the advice guys much appreciated

The trouble is unless the new buyer has knowledge of that engine they will run a mile as the fault could be anything.

Shame really its a nice car..my mate had same spec 318i. Was a rice run around in town until it was stolen from his drive middle of night.

The injector replace takes no more than 30minto replace and if you was local i would just done it for a Turkish platter for 2

Save the headache of chancers wasting your time trying to offer you £1500 and get someone to replace the injector on cyl3. Try euroCP or CP4less. They sell the OE injectors for a lot less than BMW (mine came with BMW branding/labels on the boxes. Where are you in the UK? I might be interested.

Holy crap your car has low mileage! My 09 118i (n43) is right at 165k miles. If you have never had it done there was an injector recall on the n43. Also if you have some skills you could swap the coil from the misfiring cylinder to another to see if the coil is bad. If the misfire stays on the same cylinder you most likely have a bad injector. The only other issue I have had was the NOX sensor died and I swapped in the Noxem sensor and my mileage is back up 42-43 mpg ( England mpg). Don’t give up on the car, it will be hard to replace for what you will get for it.
