I would let it sleep first just to be on the safe side...we're only talking about a few hundred extra seconds.

Hmmm, maybe I should turn up my JBD a little bit too. Just what I need: more go power.

So I know this is a really old thread, but I was wondering if anyone heard what the OP's solution was in the end?

I purchased a second hand JBD and installed it on my '13 X5 35d this weekend. And I'm noticing a rougher idle, and some vibration I don't recall before when holding constant speeds in the 30-45 mph range.

I haven't really gotten on it yet (family was with me all day yesterday), but notice little if any difference so far in my normal driving (I'm a bit of a lead foot, even with the family aboard)

Going to double check the connections per suggestions, and hopefully get a chance in the next day or two to 'lean on it' a bit harder and see if I feel the difference. I would think if the connection was bad there would be greater issues though, no?
