I just noticed they're located in Sweden, that's probably what it's for! Makes sense now.

That's pretty cool wish I was that good at designing in CAD lol. Can't wait to see what it'll look all together.

Hehe you guys hacked it.

Plow for snow

to be able to run quite high "downforce" Negativ lift on the rear we need the front to follow.

we could do the splitter even bigger but we have put our focus on a really good L/D ratio

I fail to understand this build. Ok m4 dtm replica but could you explain the purpose of the build?
Those splitters are impressively bad looking I would say but maybe because i dont understand the point of it.
To be the fastest car around the corners? Because in straight line.... i know you don't need those massive boxes.

If they are building it to run time attack it makes sense. If it's easily unboltable I don't mind the design for track purposes. Lots of time attack cars run crazy dtm style aero

Hey it's a timeattack build and also for the Gatebil extreme series (8lap Sprint race)

Parts of the front splitter is made so it can be removed and just used with endless plates so going from 245cm wide to 210

Regarding the aero design, it's nothing we just made up we did run 28 different versions of this kit and also each version has around 5-6 cfd runs in different angles and heights.

Hope this answers some of the questions

Edit: also as we have put all our energy to get the downforce through the floor, this is what you end up with if you want very aggressive aero.

Also many of the track we race on here in Sweden are slow track so the aero needs to be effective in low speeds.

This one makes its on weight already just above 60mph

Wow, this is gonna be sick. I’m assuming that all of this is going over a tube frame? How did y’all make the body; did you use a giant 3D printer or something?

Thanks

yeah its gonna be a tube frame with some custom wheel geometry.

we did 3d scan the toy car and then used a big milling machine to mill it out in Styrofoam, applied a coat of epoxy on it to make it hard and then started with the molds

Massive massive props to the amount of work undertaken to make this beast. Are you planning to make the various components you’ve created for this commercially available?

Thanks bro

Yeah, the plan is to be able to offer a full package deal turn key race car, or just the body kit

As this is so much lower then a F30 body im not sure yet if it would be possible to install it on a Factory body or if it needs to be a tubeframe
