Maybe you could get coilovers? Put them really stiff on the back?

setting them stiff won't help. you need coilovers to raise the ride height, or lower the front.

haha guys it really isint that noticeable, im just conscious of it and it bothers me, the car dosen't look all that off its just about an inch lower gap between the rear fender and the rim than the front. i have 2 12 inch JL w7s which weigh about 50 pounds each, then a 6 cubic foot box that takes up my ENTIRE trunk probably weighs about 100-150, then 2 1000 watt amps only about 15-20 lbs each and then an extra battery to power it all. i have the harmon kardon upgrade so ditching those would make no sense, theres no way i can achieve the bass i want without these subs, im hitting about 153.2 Decibels hahaha.

the box is similar to this one but the fitment is perfect, custom trim panels, looks great they fire right into the cabin and are ported through the rear armrest

Why do you need 2 w7s and 2 1000 watt amps and an extra battery?
That setup is more like 250-300 lbs to me. Unless you used 1/4 in mdf for that box, a 6 cu ft box will weight close to 100 lbs. My 1 cu ft box weights a good 20-30 lbs.... |

setup all in all is close to 280-300 lbs, 90 for both subs, 150 for the box, another 50 between amps and battery. i dont REALLY need so much bass but i really do love it, shakes my car apart the extra battery is not really necessary but it takes alot of strain off the factory alternator and battery so my lights dont dim when the bass hits

anyone know anything about putting some h&r springs only on the front? would i have alignment issues? or putting them on front and rear and because they are stiffer the diference between the front fender gap and rear would be less?

express705, you have to look at it this way, it would be the same if i were to have 2 adults sitting in my backseat, i never carry passengers in addition to the sub weight

Well as someone mentioned before, the xi naturally has front rake (sits higher in the front). So by adding close to 300lbs extra weight in the back, you just make the rake worse.
Only way to fix it is to lighten your setup or get coilovers and set the rear height higher to level out the car...also has been mentioned. |

pics coming soon, ill snap some after work, the box is heavy because its 1. Ported meaning more material is used 2. the material has to be thick, you have no idea how much pressure builds in the car let alone my box. i broke the gas cap (the little pin that clicks when you push it in and releases when pushed a second time) because the pressure that built up behind the panel literally popped it out
think ill go with h&r all around and align it, not in the market to spend money on coilovers |

You'll still have rake with springs.....And you'll probably rub depending on your wheels setup.
