I'm organizing another cruise on Oct 27th (Sunday 11 am) to Real Urban BBQ in Highland Park.
Driving one hour north on Sheridan drive. All the details found here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?p=14785679 |

Hello Chicago crew!
Just relocated to the area from NC. Any tips on winterizing my car for the upcoming snow? I come from the VW scene and wondering if there are any meet ups in the Chicago area? |

we have a decent number, but the core group of us stop visiting this site as the admins were not nice to us. Watch the regional section and you will see meets posted.
Get good all season tires or a winter set and you should be good. I am RWD and run 285 conti DWS and am pretty well set up.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Also, I never tuned a car before. Suggestions on where to go? Would I buy the chip then take it in for someone to tune or have a Dinan done? |

A&L is just about where everyone goes. I'm 43 miles away and have been going there for years. It's worth the extra drive.
Btw, saw a Ferrari F40 on the highway today. Mind blown. |

JB4/Procede would be piggy backs you install on the ECU. Takes about 60 mins the first time and down to 20 after you know what you are doing. Or pay someone to flash your car, like Eurocharged. Dinan is a waste of money.

Back in a 335. Looking at tunes right now. Had the EC tune on my old 335, N54. Thought it was great, nice gains. What are the best options now for N55? EC has a tune but can't do OBDII anymore. All I see if Cobb and JB. Appreciate your thoughts.
