The problem is there is only one NHRA certified track in NC and its ZMax in Charlotte. There tech inspection is a b, make sure if you go there to have a helmet(14 sec or faster) If the car goes below 11.0 you need a roll bar installed.

Recommend you use real meth and distilled water. Washer fluid can contain things that you don't want in there. Great mods! Should have done mine when I had them apart last month.

I'm not interested in arguing either, but misquoting me doesn't help. I did not see the bent rod, I know of someone who bent a rod (not something they want to share in public). Failure mode on the trans is well known, but not here. There are other sources of information besides this forum. Not trying to give a smart answer, just sayin'.

Windshield washer fluid has additives and detergents that might not mix well in your engine. Regular water might other contaminants depending on where you get your water from.

Distilled water is pure and clean.

I always run distilled water + meth. Less things to worry about.

Same here. If I ever for whatever reason dont have any distilled water, I use filtered water from a water filter. I also have an inline filter from the fluid tank to get anything of real size out of the line. Distilled water is cheap, and bulk methanol is WAY cheaper than washer fluid or other similar stuff like HEET. No road taxes on methanol which is probably why its so cheap, but I get it for a fair amount less per gallon than gas is, think I paid about $2.50 last time I filled a container and gas at the time was about $0.50 higher than it is right now.

You may want to check if there is a local fuel supplier...just bring by a 5 gallon can.

Do you have wheel compressor sizes?
Would be nice to get an idea dimensionally what the difference is stock vs hybrid.

Can I ask what the boost level is with the hybrid turbos?

Just curious... based on your picture they mounted your meth nozzle post iat sensor before the bend back into the butterfly valve. Is that the case? Any insight as to why they didn't mount it down towards the bottom of the charge pipe, and before the iat sensor like most people here are doing?

Great question. I was wondering that myself. I assume that you have a two nozzle setup and we just can't see the second nozzle?

Right now I'm running just one nozzle, 1000, we want to add another 500 to see what it does. I have a pack of snow's boost juice on order. TEST TEST TEST

Talked with the tuner, he said average boost levels are around 35-36 and peak at 37-38psi. He said on other hybrid turbos over in Europe run on average 2.8bars or 40.61psi, so there is more room to grow He stated he wanted to keep the boost low for street use and when it comes time for the drag strip, I have a second computer with a race tune installed for the increased boost levels and second nozzle of meth.

Here's the turbos running the same boost level as the stock ones

Blue line is the last dyno pull before the turbos were installed
Red line is the first pull on car after the turbos installed. No adjustment to the tune or boost.

As you can see, just installing the turbos will give you a good bump in power, but as my tuner said, you need make a ton of adjustments to make them work properly.

Here are the best numbers it put down before and after turbo install

OK, looking back I should have said there is room for more methanol. At 1000ml/min the windshield washer fluid was @ 25% methanol, based on the Hp gain. So, with Snow's being at 49% methanol, should see @ 50 Hp gain with just the 1000 nozzle (I'm being conservative).

1500 ml/min must be for when you turn up the wick with boost and fuel! Can't wait to see the results with the drag strip tune. Thanks for sharing the details
