I only use the on board nav for longer trips. Short trips google maps are still king.

I need to do an apple car play retrofit.

Why buy a new car when you can buy a $300 box?

Just finished upgrading my auto dim rear view mirror to auto dim+garage opener+compass.
It comes with the clown nose, which I want to find a way to replace/delete it.

Attempted shade tree mechanic fix for the leaking windshield washer reservoir. Cleaned musty filter to pump.. new reservoir, pump & filter going in next. Not sure I like the moldy look in the reservoir either.

Then install cowl brass inserts. Awesome shit.

I tried hunting down my DSC error issues which attributes to a whole assortment of issues with cruise control etc. seem steering angle sensor. Take it apart another day for cleaning.

I imagine if I had a dashcam with a remote button; I would put that button inplace of the clown nose.

Cleaned vanos solenoid and as I had play in my steering (and a clunk from it that I could feel through my steering wheel), I tightened the E10 bolts (upper and lower) on my intermediate shaft (between my steering column and steering rack). Was getting an on and off misfire on cylinder #3 so I also replaced coil on that cylinder. So far car is running fantastic and the steering is tight as a drum.

More DRUM, we don't see drum references enough!

Modified and installed blind spot mirrors. Then went to range and hit a medium bucket. They went where I aimed. They likely won't in next weeks tournament. Practice is overrated.

My front right tire was rubbing on the oil cooler fender cover. I don't know why, so I dremeled it to make more space. No more rubbing!

Where'd you get those? Did you replace the whole mirror glass, or just add the little corner pieces?

They began life as round spot mirrors. I made a pattern of the mirror corner to use to cut the spot mirror.
