Will these fit?
Hey guys I have a few questions!
I have a pre-lci e90 330i. Currently it has Style 95s that are 19x9 front and 19x10 read. I think the offsets are +24 in the front and rear. The PO put 215/35/19 on the front and 235/35/19 on the rear. They are stretched and I hate it, plus they need to be replaced soon anyway. So I found I set of 245/35/19 (70% tread) and 275/30/19 (90% tread) Michelin Pilot sports for cheap. The only issue is they were too big in the front and try rubbed which is why the guy is selling them. They show damage from rubbing. I will attach pictures View post on imgur.com of the damage and hopefully someone can tell me if they're safe to use.Okay, so if they're safe to use, will they fit? I am on stock sport suspension. I'm almost positive they will but I wanted to get a second opinion. My only concern would be rubbing in the front. Now my last question! My car is alpine white, and right now the Style 95s are the stock BMW silver. They are curbed and the finish is beat up. I'm thinking about refinishing them and having them powder coated gloss black or a dark grey/gunmetal. Any opinions? Thanks for the help! Last edited by noah.s; 01-27-2016 at 12:28 PM.. |

Bump, any help?
He sent another pic of one of the fronts, this one is worse than the other. It looks pretty bad! View post on imgur.com |

the front might have a issue with rubbing I have +15 9' 225/35 on it and its just perfect, but then again I have a E92 I know the front fitment is a little different but not too big of a difference, now with the rears that's the biggest issue, 275 +24 offset is way to low, you will be rubbing like crazy you would have to probably go with a 255/35or30 in the rears to be safe, and it also depends on the brand of tire you are using also, Pilot Sports are more rounded so you should be fine with the sizes I mention above, let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks for the help! I'm going to look when I get home to see how much room I've got. Right now I'm running 215/35 and 235/35 that the PO put on. They're really stretched. What do you think about the rubbing damage to the front tire? I posted pictures in my main post and second post. I have a feeling that it's bad and pretty much unusable, but I don't know that much about tires. Thanks! Edit: I definitely think it will rub or be very close. Does anyone have this setup on their car or know for sure if it will work or not? After looking at mine right now i feel like the front might rub the strut and the rear might rub as well. Thanks for the help Last edited by noah.s; 01-28-2016 at 11:01 AM.. |

lets put it this way I ran a very similar set up but it was 9.5 +22 with a 225/35 and the rears 11 +25 with a 245/35 and it was really stretch but that was the only way to get it to fit, now with the tires you are trying to run it will rub, a lot of fender work and camber would have to be done to get it to fit, the rears I think are almost impossible to fit 275 with those off sets, the front you need a more narrow tire, you will hit the spring on large bumps

Unfortunately you're going to have to run stretched tires. I don't understand why ppl have 19s.. Aggressive offset but want to put tires that won't fit.. And stock height-ish? With style 95s you have to be slammed to pull that look off. Put 225/35 up front and 245/35 in the rears and call it a day.

Thanks! I just saw a set of used tires for a good price is why I asked. I've been looking for a different set of wheels but haven't had any luck. The PO put these 95s on and I hate the stretched tires. I was just looking for something temporary until I can get new wheels. |

Right on. Depending on your ride height you can even put 235/35 f and 265/30 r but if it's temporary you might as well wait till you get your new wheels

I'm just on stock sport suspension, I'm pretty sure I can fit 235/35 and 265/30. These tires are at the end of their life which is why I need to find something soon. If I could find a used set fof tires for cheap it buys me more time to find what I really want. I really want F14s. There's a set near me but they're 5x112 and the rear are too big. http://orlando.craigslist.org/wto/5354665010.html |

You would spend some extra money to get those to fit. You would need spacers to get the rears to fit and then you would have to run stretch tires as well. And with that high offset you would be better off getting 19x11 et 22 or something cuz then they would be super concave. And Re drill too.
