Unpack this archive file. It is for E90, this is correct.

Then you must install the files in to the proper folders.

Use this tool (bmw coding tool)

http://goo.gl/2Nb35K

to fill your coding folders (ncs expert, etc)

Also a must have/read ncsdummy

I would recommend you get BMW Coding Tool 2.5. It will allow you to edit the files NCS Expert uses to code your car. It will also allow you to import your Daten files into the correct folder.

You will need the "work" folder under the NCSEXPERT folder in order for it to work. That's where all you TRC and MAN files are generated for coding.

Just as an addition. Make a shortcut to this work and have it on your desktop.

Pretty sure your programs are not set up to work on all BMW models up to 2014. The F series require esys (coding), enet cable (replaces KDCAN) and updated version of INPA.

I'm pretty sure the "work" folder will need to be under NCSEXPERT. Just keep that in mind if you run into problems.

Select your chassis, then functional jobs. Then there should be an "error" button. Once you click that, you have the option to read/clear error, clear information memory and clear history.

Once you get more familiar with what exact modules you have, you can do more In depth troubleshooting by selecting the module instead of functional jobs.
