Question about multiple error codes.

As i was driving yesterday normally, just cruising i suddenly got a lot of error messages, ABS system failure, FTM system failure, and now I cannot turn on DTC, it is completely off, i cannot use cruise control. I have already browsed alot and scanned the car with carly and got error codes in the DSC module. The codes I got are 5DC6, 5E67 and 5DF4, from all the browsing I think I need to replace the rear right wheel speed sensor. I just want to make sure that that is it. Any opinions and tips would be useful, Thanks.

Yep....definitely sounds like a wheel speed sensor. Literally a 10 minute job if that.

I had a similar failure, for me it was the front right wheel speed sensor.
It took me a lot more time than 10 minutes to diagnose because I got a pair of front wheel sensor from Amazon (at a good price) and both were defective. Swapping the the good sensor from side to side help me to conclude that I got two bad sensors from the Amazon vendor. I ended up ordering another wheel speed sensor for FCP and this solved the problem.

I replace at least one of these yearly. These cars are old and the plastic connectors for this item is brittle by now. Likely to break apart disconnecting. You can get replacement connectors that are probably cheaper than shipping so I would order them at the same time as the sensor...if you haven't ordered yet.

Amar47,
The cables to these sensors are about 1/2 inch too short which causes the cables to be stressed and eventually fail. Do everything you can to give as much slack to the cable where it goes from the body of the car to the shock housing. I had to replace three of my sensors over a 50k mile period before I figured this out.
