exhaust gas pressure sensor before turbo charger plausibility

Anyone have experience with this code? I have not gone in to check anything yet, car feels fine.


side note: car has the full ABC delete. also have a code for a bad glow plug, changing that next week.

Not on this car, but on my 2010 Jetta TDI, I had to have that part replaced. As far as I could tell, it doesn't really affect anything. Especially on an illiterate car. Could be a bad wire to the sensor, but I doubt it. May have to replace the part.

Clogged pressure sensor inlet or failed sensor are the only two realistic causes on a fully deleted car.

Couldn't it also be a leak in the feed to the sensor. Suppose depends on which way is the plausibility. I have not looked up the code, yet. If you are going to replace the sensor, replace the feed tube as well.

Pulled the code description, here you go. Says that happens if there are no electrical issues first. As hooper says, it's either plugged or you have leaks in the feed or exhaust manifold or turbo flanges. Second description talks about air mass issues, but that seems to be only for single stage charging. If you replace the sensor, you gotta reset the adaptations for it.

I also have this code. Car seams to have a lot more exhaust smoke as well.
