E92/E93 rear seat storage/cup holder snafu

'08 E93. Storage/cup holder between the seats has a slider/roller cover. The cover pieces broke apart. None are broken, just separated. A new storage unit is $232 and the slider cover only is $40 from china. Is there a way to snap them back together? I know you can't use super glue because the pieces need to freely roll back in to the rear area.
Am I S.O.L.?
